Hydroponic garden for community members of PPR Taman Sri Rugading

The Problem

A lot of residents are affected by the pandemic in which they have lost jobs, received a salary cut or received less customers that can support their own businesses.

The Solution

Pertubuhan IKRAM executed a hydroponic garden project where community members partake in growing their own vegetables. During the program, the community members obtained vast knowledge and new skills to successfully manage a hydroponic garden. They were also taught on entrepreneurship skills to help market their vegetables. This helps the community members to earn extra income as well as healthy food supply.
